You can’t go on like you’re going to start really living one day, like all this is some preamble to some great life that’s going to magically appear. I’m a firm believer that you have to create your own miracles. Don’t hold out that there’s something better waiting on the other side. It doesn’t work that way.

You must learn to be patient. Patient with yourself and the people in this world. You must learn to slow down. To take some time to breathe, to notice, to appreciate what you have. Just trust that in the moment you really need an answer it will come to you clearly. You will know what you need to do, to say, to give. Believe in yourself, in the life you are leading. Trust that you can and will figure this all out. Give yourself the time and space to do that.

its such a cliché statement but like beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and like even people who may not be “conventionally attractive by society’s standards” can still find someone who thinks they are the most beautiful person in the whole world and that really makes me happy
